This is customizable zip tie holder for mounting of pictures or electronic devices at poles or similar objects. It uses mounting hole at the back of object meant to be hanged on nail or screw onto the wall.

I needed way to mount temperature and humidity meter on LACKE housing for my 3D printer. I did not want to drill holes so I got an idea to use zip ties. I needed adapter. So here is the model.

This is OpenSCAD customizer that allows creating universal mounting masks for LCD modules. It is suitable for the most popular LCD display modules used in hobby electronics.

There are number of parameters that may be set. However, most of them are set by default to appropriate values. Usually you just need to set dimensions of LCD module.

By default, customizer creates not only mask but also models for mounting plate with matching hole for the mask, simplified model of LCD module and protective glass insert. These can be handy while while setting mask parameters in Customizer.

CNC Clamp Screw Locking Improvement

With hobby mini CNC machines you get simple and very cheap clamps that are not easy to use.

It is hard to fasten it because screw turns along with nut, and as screw head is in T-slot of bead it is not easy reachable to block turning.

This is small rectangle peace you can attach to screw head that will block it turning within T-slot.

It makes using clamps much better experience.

You may make it from mdf, wood, plastic, metal, whatever you like.

Pripremajući se za letovanje pojavio se problem. Bebu Jakšu je još uvek najlakše hraniti u njegovoj stolici za hranjenje, ali ona je preglomazna da bismo mogli da je nosimo sa sobom.

Mama Jelena je došla na ideju da sklopiva kolica koja svakako nosimo pretvorimo u hranilicu uz jedan dodatak – poslužavnik. Naravno, tata je morao da bude izvođač radova.

Sve što vam je potrebno za ovaj projekat je jedan plastični poslužavnih odgovarajuće veličine i tri do četiri držača za vodovodne cevi iisto toliko zavrtnja sa maticama. Zavrtnji treba da budu sa ravnom i što tanjom glavom.

Poslužavnik ćete lako naći u bilo kojoj radnji koja prodaje posuđe a držače u radnjama koja prodaju opremu za vodovodne instalacije. […]

Dunax GPN-4B antenna construction details

After few years of sitting on top of my apartment building I decided to bring my Dunax GPN-4B antenna down for repair as top capacitive hat was broken. I found out that there actually no technical details about fixing it. So I went through some work of gathering such information.

First I found out that manufacturer is out of business. Antenna is not in production any more and manufacturer site is down. I asked help from fellow hams, some sent me some info they had, some sent me contact info for manufacturer.I also used my own antenna to take measurements, so finally I got quite complete details that I believe could help other fellow hams trying to repair their own antennas but also ones that want to build similar antenna.
