Chirp: IARU R1 repeaters and simplex channel list

Chirp is awesome little open source application which allows hams to easily set frequency memories on their rigs. It supports number of rigs from high end all band devices to cheap walkie-talkies. Chirp successfully replaces manufacturers rig programming software and in many cases outperforms them.

I am giving you here CSV list of IARU region 1 frequencies for VHF and UHF repeaters and simplex channels in CSV format compatible with Chirp.

How to use

1. Download to your local disk

2. Connect your rig to computer and download current memory settings from it (Alt+D).

3. Save downloaded data as backup.

Portabl antena od ribolovačkog štapa

portabl vertikalna antenaŠtap je od fiberglasa, dug je šest metara, a težak svega nekoliko stotina grama. Dovoljno je čvrst da se na njega može okačiti vertikalna antena pa i dipol. Sklopljen štap je dug 110 centimetara tako da je prihvatljiv da se nosi na rancu.

Antena je klasičan monoband dipol za 14 MHz, samo je monitran tako da se vrući krak okači na vrh štapa i visi kao uspravna antena, a drugi krak se postavi pod uglom od 45 stepeni kao jedan radijal i antena praktično radi kao GP sa jednim radijalom. Antena je umerena i SWR je 1:1.

Zračenje je određeno smerom radijala, tako da se premeštanjem radijala oko antene može menjati i smer zračenja. […]

WCW2014 – World Castles Weekend in Uzice, Serbia

It was just several days before this year world Castle Weekend that I decided to participate by activating one of the fortresses in surroundings of my hometown Užice. Actually, I was targeted to activate YU-0030, Fortress of Solotnik, as it was never activated before and thus should be more interesting for WCA hunters.

As I still did not have all necessary equipment and tools I asked for a help of Milan YU1ZZ. As experienced contester he was up to the task, ready to improvise if necessary. One short phone call settled it down. Milan is primarily high class contester and DXer, but it seemed to me that he is actually seeking for something fresh and more relaxing, and he was really interested in my previous activation of Old fortress in Uzice (YU-00023). […]
